That isn't so bad actually. I expected much worse than what I saw.

This Saturday meet up at BW3's was a good time. Nothing real fancy, but it was a chance for a couple of us to get to know each other a little better, and get some wings.

We thought we saw you Bmeyer, but I guess it wasnt you. Saw an SSM TL with black rims, and it at a minimum had an exhaust. Not sure what else. Turned into the area, but kept going.

Hopefully this Saturday turns out a little better. If not - I'm a wing fan anyways, so I'll be happy either way.

need a little help guys.....recently when I put the gear in reverse and let go of the brakes, I have been getting this clicking noise. I have googled it and some say it might be loose rotors, others say it might be a rock stuck in the cv-joints, others say it might be loose brake pads, and Others say just live with it. LOL being the picky person I am, I cannot live with it. You guys have any idea what it might be?

I would but I'll be at the Gopher game this weekend. Chance I may head to Wisconsin for an anniversary party for my friends brewery instead too. Maybe next time.

I'm out for any cruising. Already got the car put away for the winter. If It's nice, I'll bring it out for some photo's - but with no insurance I don't want to be taking any high speed S curves in the near future. lol

Nope. I've owned my CL-S6 for around 2 years or so now. Been in the cities for 27 years.

I would be down for a meet & cruise. I assume most would be down for a meet, but not a cruise. I will be parking White Heat REAL SOON so I am enjoying as much time as I have 'til the Jeep will be getting it all. Besides, I wanna check out TheWeez's CL-S6

Man hearing you guys talking about parking your cars for winter made me wish I still had my old beater, but at the same time it's hard to go to a crappy car after driving something so nice!!! Still it would have been nice to keep the TL salt free :/

I'm not so much worried about the salt, but I've got a 45 minute commute to work. As much as I'd like to say the TL is great in winter, I went from a 4 wheel drive Jimmy, to an Expedition, to the TL.

All I can say is Dodge 4x4 FTW

My "beater" is a '06 Jeep Liberty, not so much a beater lol - I will eventually post pics of the mods I have done so far. I agree Glow, Acuras are good in the winter BUT nothing can beat a 4X4 in those conditions!

LOL.... yea yea. Guess that's what makes it a beater. :-)

It's my version of a coolant change. Just dump it all out on 94 and fill it back up after you get home. BTW - I did use duct tape to seal the hose, filled it with water and drove it home. How's that for redneck?

^^ That's pretty good redneck glow! lol

As for me I used to have my old 1999 oldsmobile intrigue that I drove in the winters, but got rid of it instead of investing about $4k to keep it going. It was starting to need a lot of work.

Oh, and I think I saw the SSM you guys were talking about seeing last weekend. It's got rims, looks like a slight drop, exhaust and tints. I was headed 94W during rush hour earlier this week and saw him. I thought it was Jorge at first, but the car didn't have the hood cover thing Jorge does.

Hey, they are making disposal of car fluids a bitch, that was probably the cheapest disposal of used coolant in the last 5 years.

Went to Costco and got 4 new Michelin Pilot A/S for my TL and man does it make a difference it is like a completely different car now. The crappy OE MXM4's are the worst tire ever it kills the performance of the car even my old TSX had those and I replaced them with Goodyear Response Edge and they were good but the Pilots are awesome.

For those still interested we are meeting tomorrow at Buffalo Wild Wings in Coon Rapids here is the address for your navi system
3395 River Rapids Dr NW, Coon Rapids, MN‎.
If you use mapquest/google maps the location is slightly off so just know when you see JCPenneys BW3's is on the west side of Penney's parking lot.

^^ Should have gone with the Nokians that I got on my TL! They don't hold up all that long (about 40,000 miles), but makes the TL feel like an AWD car in the winter. I'm already on my second set of them and absolutely love them!! They're expensive as hell though!

See you guys tomorrow.....don't forget 11 am!!!

Yeah that's what we did. I guess that is what I get for not having a Blackberry/Iphone to check the message boards then we would have known. 05TL and I watched the Gopher game and had lunch and I waited around till 12:30 to see if anyone else showed up before leaving myself.
