Slamology 2010 - Indianapolis June 19-20th

Alright guys, here's your chance for an Indy get together. Slamology is a huge car show/sound off at the Marion County fair grounds. There are about a 200-300 mini-trucks, but no Acura's. So, all you Midwest/Indy guys talking about having a meet, here's your chance. Preregistration is $30 ($50 at the gate) and that gets you into the show for the weekend and 2 wristbands (you and a passenger) for the weekend. You can also get additional wristbands when you preregister for $10 ($15 at the gate). If it's anything like last year, it will be a great show and definitely a ton of fun. I'll be competing in the Audio comp section which will be off in its own little area, but will still be a good time. I'll have a grill fired up over there and will be grilling steaks (for people that pay me in advance for them) and we should have burgers and dogs for others. If you do come over and eat, I do ask that you bring something so that some of us aren't footing the bill for everyone to eat.

Anyway, here's the link to Slamology's site: http://www.slamology.com/

I hope to see some fellow A-ziner's out at the show this year. We've got some time, but post up any questions/comments if you have them.

63 views and still nothing? Wow...

Anyway, schedule is up for the show: http://www.slamology.com/index.php?o...d=30&Itemid=46

Again, only $30 if you preregister and if you're in Indy, you can go get classed and everything on Friday night so you don't have to sit in the mile long line to get classes on Saturday.

Cool, sounds good. If you do, be sure to come over by the stereo competition area, that's where I'll be spending my day. I'll probably be grilling most of the day, so find the guy near the grill. Or, I know I'll be the only 1st Gen CL there, so it'll stick out like a sore thumb.

So, nobody's interested in a big car show with $30 entry? Or $10 to spectate? Those prices do go up at the door, so keep that in mind...

Getting down to the last couple days before the show... Anyone else even considering coming to the show? It's now $50 at the gate to show, if you missed preregistration or $15 for a walking pass around the show for the weekend.

If I was local and didn't have to walk a wedding, I'd TOTALLY be in!

Good to know someone actually looks in here. For awhile there I thought I was talking to myself...

And yeah, it's a hell of a show. Just for the audio portion alone, we've got guys coming from IN, OH, IL, MI, and possibly even a couple from WI. Should be a very good show.

Hey, even if certain parts of the show aren't your thing...if you're into cars, there's gotta be something there you like. Lowrider, bass...something. I could talk cars all day long.

PS...I think it's great that you shared with everyone. Hope you enjoy the show and good luck on the comp...

Absolutely awesome show. For those in Indy that didn't do anything this weekend and didn't come, you guys really missed out. It was an awesome time this weekend, and literally a class for everyone under the sun. I heard someone say there were like 30+ car show classes (probably 400+ cars) and we had 60+ audio competitors. The afterparty between the Red Roof and the La Quinta was absolutely sick. Guys dragging frame and doing burnouts till around 1-2am. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pics (or any sleep) but it was an awesome show. Definitely looking forward to next year's show already.
