Acurazine: Can-US Cross-Border-Meet 2014
Howdy ho, neighbourinos! (cliff notes at the end)
So, it appears that CanAm is virtually dead...
And with that being said, us Igloo Folk from up north were interested in doing a cross-border meet. We have made one thread in the NY/NJ regional thread with one response... and things didn't go anywhere from there. It appears one of the members there likes to tickle pickles, just not this pickle.
Anyway, us Canadians were hoping to come down Stateside to either attend a show/event with all of you---or host our own Acurazine meet. If we attended a show/event we would preferably like to attend one in which the amount of attending Aziners will be at it's optimum.
Most of us are willing to drive a maximum distance of 8hours worth, or 800km or 497miles from Toronto/Niagara/Buffalo/Ottawa.
Just to help imagine that distance, Toronto to Detroit is roughly 3.5hours (nonstop) which is roughly 350kms or 217miles.
Driving Toronto to Niagara/Buffalo is roughly 1.5hours (nonstop) which is roughly 150kms or 93miles.
Cliff note(s):
Canadians wants to meet all of your faces. Let's plan something.

Damn that's about double the distance most of us are willing to go. lol.
I MIGHT be willing to go to nationals... But, of course, would prefer something within a more reasonable distance.

I'll personally look into it. I don't mind driving the distance. When do the details for it come out? I'll probably join with the Michigan or Ohio caravan if there is one.
Us KC guys are planning to sit down and have a discussion about it here pretty soon, I know Steven usually tries to get the info out ASAP once we have a good plan in place to give people as much notice as possible.
