I didn't get lost getting to KC from Denver. (Literally a straight shot down I-70) Just from Jay Wolfe to Dave and Busters

I got caught up in traffic pulling out of the parking lot, lost sight of everyone, than turned onto the wrong ramp. I got there eventually with a lil help

Same here. When are you heading out? I'm trying to see how many East Coasters are coming along the same route so that we can all rendezvous for a caravan.

The link should still work, but it takes you to a page that says the hotel is no longer there like Steven Bell said. It'll have the new name if you click on the link to check rates. However, hotels.com has it cheaper than the discounted rate.

^ Yeah, we won't be rendezvousing since I won't be leaving until early Saturday morning. If you click on the check quote, it'll take you to the hotels.com website.

Guys, call the hotel direct (with the number provided on the 1st page) to reserve rooms. Mac is the owner of the property-I've set this up with him. Just tell them you are with Acurazine and/or Jay Wolfe Acura and you want the $59 room rate that I've set up with Mac!

Back in KC... Well on weekdays

I'm finally back in KC. Monday was my first day back from my 3 weeks out at the farm and I spotted a 3G TL behind me that followed me into the offices at 107 and Nall at 1pm. They had A-Spec wheels and rockblocker tint on tails and headlights. Was curious to see if that was anyone on here?

I have some good news and bad news.

Good news: We sold the farm and close on June 1st!

Bad news: We didn't get everything done that needed to be in my 3 weeks out there due to weather and not getting as much help as anticipated. We have to have everything done before we close too. This means that I have to go out at least 3 more weekends this month and work on finishing it up.

If I'm lucky I might have 2 weekends where I'm actually in KC (last time was in March) before the meet and I'm not sure about them right now. Looking more and more like I'm not going to have time to show my car some love and get her at least passable for the meet. I'll still be at the meet to handle registration/judging but my car might be absent or at least parked somewhere else to hide her shame. I purchased a Karcher pressure washer and a foam cannon so it would be nice to actually get to use them for the first time before the meet.

Here's a 360 degree panoramic I took of what the farm looks like now after we tore down 3 barns, a house, cut down around 150 trees, and hauled off about 3 ton of junk and over 21 ton of scrap metal. Not bad for 3 weeks of work.

^^^ The fires we started out there were a little to hot to get close enough to roast marshmellows. I was about 50+ ft away and up wind from the house burning and I was getting pretty hot when I took the pic below.

When I went in 2010 I didn't think to bring any car cleaning supplies with. I ended up going to walmart and buying a bucket, sponge, etc. I would suggest bringing some supplies to use at the do it yourself spray carwash.

This is what I'm going to do even tho I'm local, ONR and a couple of gallons of water. I'm sure I'll catch a lot of bugs driving the 30 or so miles I have to drive.

The lady wants to get a hotel close by, so we can drink and not have to worry about driving back home.

Painter's tape can only help so much. I'd hate to see what the windshield will look like lol.

And that's a really good idea to bring some detailing supplies as I was thinking the local car washes would suffice. Nope! Gotta scrub, scrub, scrub!

^^^ THIS !!!

plus painter tape will mess your MPG !!! going back and forth from STL i used to get 32-33mpg averaging 70mph.....used painters tape and down to 28mpg with the same average 70mph.....

so you might wanna think about that as well.....

1200 miles 32mpg = 37.5 gallons of gas x $4 = 150 bucks
1200 miles 28 mpg =42.8 gallons of gas x $4 = 172 bucks....

that is only one way.....

and you can spend that $22 cleaning your car....the choice is yours

Anyone coming through Memphis or leaving from St. Louis Saturday morning thats wants to roll together? I'll do an early burn out of Memphis and be hanging a left at STL before the sun comes up.

Where is anyone staying? I'm sure the hotels are already booked being a show weekend.
