I would post my time slips. I had the reaction time of the night! But... I need to learn how to leave with a FWD manual transmission car. I could leave really well with my GTP but this Maxima takes some getting used to. Shifting is not a problem for me. Getting off the line is.

I haven't gone to that parking lot in Rockville for at least a year or more now. Cops always made people leave and typically if the cops didn't a fight would break out or someone would pull a gun. Not really fun when that happens

Now, I think at Budds Creek, a .000 is perfect (basically a .500 light but they take the .500 away). The tracks keep changing stuff...
So, your .389 is either a red-light or an .889, depending on the track...

This 3.5 has a weird power curve. I wheel-hopped bad my first pass (.506 light). On my second pass, I spun a little at the top of first gear and spun half way through second.
Look out when I get my mods and learn how to leave right with this thing. I think that the clutch is suspect (I have been saying this since I bought the car). It feels totally different from other Maxima's I have driven. It engages WAY AT THE TOP OF CLUTCH TRAVEL and there is little travel between where it engages and the end of clutch pedal travel. I think the previous owner had difficulty driving a stick. The car is a 2002 Maxima. I bought it in April with 41000 miles on it. Semms they didnt wanna deal with it. Plus, the clutch has been chattering since I test drove it.

Just wanted to let you guess know that I might be dynoing my car thursday if the shop can fit me in. We should all difinately set up a Acura dyno meet ASAP. The owner of the shop told me that he would give us a nice group deal if enough of us comes.

Thanks too all the acuras that came out (mighty, 38thstreet, trini, inspire, red cl & john) we had A LOT of fun @ 214. trini rt. 50 with the maximas was so much fucking fun!!! I looked down @ my speedometer and was like oh shit are we really going 140? lol gotta do it again with l's tl !
