I think I saw you on 95 this afternoon when I was headed back into Richmond. Were you wearing a black jacket and jeans?
That muddy Teg was hilarious. There were a shit load of EGs, as always. I saw one guy up there with [what appeared] to be a bone stock Anthracite 03 CL-S6. It had a Pearson license plate frame. I wonder if hes a member? There was also a white Del Sol with a J32 swap. I think it said J-Crew or something like that on his windshield. Interesting swaps; but not something I would do - at least to the front wheels
Im pissed I missed you guys. I knew I shouldve gotten everyones phone number beforehand. Theres always next time

I agree.
Out of a few hundred there may be 10 that where worth it.
The only two redimming factors were.
One: on the way back I saw somebody that managed to flip Mini Cooper on I-95. The skid marks where going from right most lane across the intire I-95 and landed on it's roof in the left lane. It did not like it hit any one else.
Two: meeting other aziners having intere parking lot for us with cool cars. For the most part stock TL looks better then 95% of the cars thet where there.

It would have been better if that would cord off the back aria of the warehouses for a drag strip cause cops where having a filed day on the road. I think they filed a month quota of speeding tickets for entire Richmond metro aria.

Looked like every one was ok on this one.
There was only cop sitting in his car chilling. With banch of folks standing around mini trying to flip it back. My only question is "How do you flip a mini with what looked like low profile tires?"
Also while waiting at the exit 150 there was a cop driving by with his siren lights mounted under ther car "streetglow" style.

Couldn't show up for this one. Had so much going on in my household.
I heard it was pretty good. Some ricers but that's a given anywhere.
I'll be sure to make the next one.
In the mean time, AZiners should stop doing these "meets" and actually hit the track.

I want to thank the folks that showed up on time. I know there was traffic but after waiting for and extra hour for some extra folks, it was worth it. We had a crew of 6 TLs, 1 Cl, 1 M3
Traffic was terrible and once we arrive to the car meet it was crazy no parking and we decided to park across the street from Gforce were we found safer parking and we did not have to be worry of a ricer messing up with our cars. Morgan I did not check the thread while i was there. Next time we will make better cordination. I did not take that many photos but we had a official photgrapher/paparazzi aka Brian. He will post his picture in his website and I will post the link in the thread.
It was nice metting some old faces and some new ones, until next time and keep on Moding.

Reading the thread, I see that the meet got shut down when G-Force closed.
Maybe Ive come a very long since my first car, but most of the cars I saw there were, ummmm, not well put together.

well, I know I am getting old so maybe my opinion is bias... but a lot of these looked terrible and 15-20 had the same rims, drop, and a basic SOHC.
I mean even when I was in school my ricer wasnt soo... uh... ghey.?.
I can respect the JDM thing, but looking at all the tight T's, skinny jeans, and bad hair cuts... I can see the trend of "originality". LoL I will admit I'd rather see that than poser thugs and gang bangin preps.
No offense to the present company.

Well said.
This was my rice-mobile from highschool:
Don't mind my friends comments, he was being a smartass. But I can't answer that question anyway It was an 88 Civic hatch that I absolutely loved. I said Id never get rid of it. I sold it last year. Last I heard it was taking part in SCCA races in Maine. I picked up another Civic hatch, this time a 90. Going to the meet this past weekend re-ignited my desire to finish the damn thing.
I couldn't stand all the Civics with stretched tires and mad camber though. Hell, I dont like that on any car. A flush wheel/tire is perfect in my book. Why turbo a FWD car, then minimize the contact patch and drop the car to the ground? How is that helping?
And no offense to anyone here

Lol, the meets over, might as well jack the thread.
I had the basics done to mine. KSports, Si disc brake conversion, Si 5spd tranny, JDM (I hate saying that now) D15b OBDI VTEC swap. VW front lip. Steelies with hubcaps
I picked up a GSR motor to install in it, but halfway through that I picked up the 90 hatch and then a 94 Prelude. I had a K&N and header in the Prelude. KYB struts with Eibach springs. And basic stereo.
I had the Civic for 3.5 years, the Prelude for a couple months in 08, then the CL. I love the CL, but I miss my Civic the most. It outhandled alot of cars.
My 90 Civic is stripped and caged. Im still in the process of working on it. I took the Si disc brakes off my 88 and put them on it. Ive got a mildly built K20Z3 going into it, but Im thinking about going from mildly built to fully built With the motor I have now, I should be low 12s easy (thats what Im aiming for) but alot of people with K-swaps are saying I should be high 11s. With the motor build I want to do, it should be low 11s as long as I choose the right tires. It'll be fun, whenever I finish it

That would be because he's in Canada this week for idk maybe 2 weeks. Ya there aint any pics of our cars since we parked in the other parking lot...cough Melvin . If we left our cars at the first spot there probably would have been more. I've looked on numerous forums (8thcivic,HT, vadriven, b20vtec, yada yada) nothing. I managed to get a crappy moving pic of my whip though, hopefully more will pop up later
