1st Annual Cars for a Cause meet/car show

11:00am until 5:00pm
GMU, 4400 University Drive **parking lot K** , Fairfax, VA
Alright guys, almost that time of year again when car shows kick off. Time to get your rides ready and throw them summer wheels back on! Post here to discuss rally points and what not so we as "Acurazine" can roll up together as a group.

UNclassified and Patriot Motorsports invite you to come help us fight cancer. We are teaming up with a few local car clubs/organizations within the DMV area and some big names on the east coast. Funds collected will be split in two:
- Half will go to the Children's Hospital in D.C.
- Half will go to help a 4 year old girl name Isabel and her medical bills. She was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma and is receiving treatment at the Children's National Medical Center in D.C.

**ENTRANCE FEES/ ENTERTAINMENT/ CAR SHOW**
***ENTRANCE FEES***
$5 PER CAR (driver will get a free raffle ticket at the door)
$1 PER Passenger/Walk-ins
RAFFLE TICKETS -$1.00 per extra raffle ticket OR $5.00 for 7 tickets
***ENTERTAINMENT***
- RAFFLE PRIZES: merchandise from our vendors, free $250 coupon for detailing at D&V autobody, FREE 2 night stay at Clarion Hotel. I will add more as they come =)
- *GRAND RAFFLE PRIZE: A FREE SET OF D2 COILOVERS!!!*
- Dyno On-the-Go will be setting up AWD dyno runs at the event. 1st come, 1st serve!!
- dj viceversa and dj 2nice will be spinnin tracks to keep things interesting!!
- A booth for children's activities will be set up, so bring the kids if you'd like!
- We will have at least one food vendor on site, if not more.
- Lil b-boy battle from our friends/supporters
- Several local car models will be present as well!!
***CAR SHOW***
- If you would like to pre-register your whip for the show, please email me your name and a picture of your car for the low down (unclassifiedteam@gmail.com). Judges will be some of the vendors from this event (ISO, CIB, and Mischief.tv)
Fees for pre-registration: $15
Late registration at the door: $20

im guessing that the CPT meets are no longer going on? I went to a GMU meet last year that they held because CPT didnt happen and it was weak... hopefully this year is better///

I was debating that but i dont think my car is worthy though to showcase lol
Im sure its still going on, was last year at GMU before or after CPT? CPT has been going on for many years and it always get a huge number of cars every year so I doubt its no longer going on. Isnt CPT around May?

its too early to post a list right now because its just gonna clutter the thread with people later changing their mind etc.. we will start a count sometime next month as time approaches the actual meet
right now, where just at an informative state to let others knows a meet going on at GMU on the 22nd of April
dont worry this thread will get bumped like no other once the date approaches and people signing up as "attending"

GMU meet last year was the weekend before the CPT meet was originally scheduled for. I guess they're in the planning stages for their spring meet.

CPT looks like to be a go for this year which I just found it will be held the weekend after the Unclassified meet. They haven't released any official info but yeah I was pretty disappointed about what happened last year :/
