I wanted the 2019 RDX but felt like it was going to take too long for there to be much in the way of discounts or lease deals. I always kind of liked the looks of the X1 and I figured that stepping down a notch from the RDX/X3 size and price range might work....and it did. I have only had it a few weeks, but so far I like the X1 a lot and it definitely has a lot of nice features my 2015 RDX didn't have (like the power folding mirrors everyone mentions even the 2019 RDX not having). It is quick and handles well. It is quite a bit shorter so it's easier to park. The room on the inside, especially the cargo area is pretty amazing considering how much smaller it is than the RDX. So far I miss three things: the X1 sits much lower than the RDX so you don't really have the SUV view of the road, the seats aren't as cushy and comfortable as the RDX, and the base radio is no match for the ELS system I had in my Tech Pkg RDX.
