I would suggest keeping your CL. I have a four year old, and had no problems using a car seat or now using a booster.

Keep your ride. Too much time and effort was invested for you to sell it now.

Iv thought about this all but i really want to get something a little more practical. I still owe $19,250 on the car.

I will take $18k for the car, that's a loss for me!

15k, I work at a credit union and the amount they would finance for it for a clean loan is 5925 for retail which they don't like to do but will sometimes, the most you could get is 9525! Private party for kbb is 9035 in excellent condition... I don't understand why you would ask for almost ten grand over the retail amount for the car for rims, exhaust not installed, intake and a lip kit.

The people on this forum know about acuras and how much performance parts are and can easily get them. If your really interested in selling the car I would think you'd put it at a more reasonable price, rather than 15k

First of all give the guy a break he obviously didn't get that great of a deal when he originally purchased the car and is now suffering. He has put a lot of work into this car and done a good job and if someone was to purchase a stock one CL and purchase all the parts and have them all installed that person will pay several thousand dollars to get it to where he has it. He's in a tough enough position trying to sell it I don't think he needs someone calling him out especially when that person doesn't seem to grasp the big picture and even if you did if you don't have something positive to say keep it to yourself.

Or I could be shedding light onto the fact that he may not know about financing and what banks/credit unions will do for someone. Banks don't look at modifications and finance more for you, that'd be too easy. Im pointing out the fact that he needs to post a reasonable amount for the car in the first place. Like posting the 12k, thats reasonable and more likely to sell. Im sure with those rims, kit, exhuast that its worth three to four grand more than the cars worth.

And you pointing out the fact that he obviously didn't get as good of a deal in the first place is almost as bad as me positng that he needs to lower the price 7 grand!

Thank you for all the comments. I have let them remain in the thread and we have all been educated, and now we need to get back to the sale, so consider this part of the thread pretty much closed.
