FS: 2003 Acura CL Type-S 6 Speed w/nav 1 of 15! $10,000 OBO Phillips Ranch Calif
Up for sale is my 2003 Acura CL Type-S with 6 speed transmission and navigation for $10,000 OBO.
The car is in great shape and has a long life ahead of it. I've done my best to take care of it. As much as I would like to keep the car, I am selling it because my wife and I are thinking about starting a family and having a 2 door car is not going to be helpful or useful for us. The price of the car is slightly lower than the price quoted by Kelley Blue Book so you are already getting a great deal based on the condition this vehicle is in and for the amount of luxury and power it has.

The car has an Infinity Basslink Subwoofer in the trunk (seen in the pics) with a variable volume control on the dashboard so that you can increase or decrease the amount of bass.
I will also include the sundshade seen in the trunk. It is custom fitted to the size of the windsheild.
Contact Information: If you have questions or would like to arrange to see the car, please send me a PM.

- I am the original owner and a non-smoker.
- The car has been garaged its entire life.
- The car has been serviced at an Acura dealership using only factory Acura parts.
- I can provide you with copies of ALL of the service records.
The Good:
- Recent repairs include the FIRST clutch replacement at 150,000 miles. Yup, the first clutch lasted me 150,000 miles! That's how well I drove the car.
- Headlight Inverter unit was replaced.
- EGR valve replaced.
- New Air Filter.
- Front bumper could use repainting but not required. I rubbed the corner of the bumper against my Dad's car backing out of the garage once and so the paint is scratched. The front bumper also has rock dings so that's why I say it could use a repainting of the front bumper, but not required. It doesn't look very bad, you can see for yourself in the pictures.
- Needs new tires.
- Rear Brakes will need servicing.
- Passenger heated seat no longer works, the heating element is probably just burnt out and needs to be replaced, you can fix it yourself as there are DIY articles online. Or you can buy this part, among others, online for a cheaper price. I can point you to where I buy all my Acura factory parts online so you can save money and still take the factory (oem) parts to wherever you plan to get the car serviced. On average I save between 20-25% when I buy my Acura OEM parts online and then take them to my Acura dealership.
- The car was involved in ONE incident that required some body work. Someone cut me off on the freeway and after cutting me off, they hit a tire that had came off an 18-wheeler and was laying on the freeway. When they hit the tire, it flipped up in the air and hit my car. MY CAR NEVER COLLIDED WITH THE OTHER VEHICLE. The tire did do damage to the front right fender which was repainted and the passenger side headlight housing was replaced as well. This is the incident that you will find if you were to run a Carfax on the vehicle.
- The CD player jams every once in a while, but somehow it manages to always free itself after a little while.
- The car has typical door dings from other people not paying attention when they open their doors.
Contact Information: If you have questions or would like to arrange to see the car, please send me a PM.

I totally forgot to take pics of the engine bay. I can take some and post them up, unfortunately I'm swamped with work till the weekend. I have a midterm tomorrow, homework due Friday and Saturday is my birthday.
I will do my best to get pics of the engine bay and post them up as soon as I can.

Most of this info was already in my first post but I want ensure it's thoroughness:
- Price: $10,000 OBO
- Mileage: 160,700 mi (approx.)
- Reason for selling: Wife and I want to start a family in the next year hopefully and a coupe won't do us any good. We're buying a wagon to make things easier for us and so we can get a jump on paying the car off before we have kids.
- Location: Phillips Ranch, CA (southern california)
- VIN: 19UYA417X3A005581
- Pictures: At the top of the thread.
- First owner? Yes
- Title information: Clear
- Leased information: Not leased.
- Modifications: Comptech Icebox intake, Infinity Basslink, Razo Pedals and shift knob (stock shift knob will be provided).
- Service records: Copies of all the records I have can be provided.
