Due to my tenure here, post count and the fact that I think I have sold a number of items here (it's been a while), I believe it is okay for me to list this vehicle here as well! Would love to see this go to a new home of a performance enthusiast who appreciates a car at the pinnacle of its class.

More details:

Hello all! The time has come to move on to a more practical second vehicle (pickup truck). I thought I would list it here in case anyone in the enthusiast community is interested.

This is a beautiful example of an XFR, I searched for over a year for this exact vehicle! Full maintenance history includes a log book I have kept of every expense and service trip. Transferable Jaguar Vehicle Protection Plan Warranty good until September 2019 or 100K miles! This car has been garaged, rarely driven and taken care of as well as one of our children (if we had any). Car currently has 25,660 miles that isn't going up much since I now work from home. This has actually been one of the more reliable luxury cars I have owned as well, Jaguar has really stepped up their quality since the TATA acquisition years ago and they are giving the German makes a run for their money.

Tasteful aftermarket mods include: Mina Gallery carbon fiber parts (hood louvers, side vents, front splitters, mirrors), Mina Gallery catback exhaust with black powdercoated tips, custom fitted Magnaflow X pipe and resonator deletes (work performed at Toxic Performance in Indian Trail, NC), powder coated stock 20" Nevis wheels, updated red logo "growler" grille badge and wheel caps. None of these changes have affected the warranty in any way, and the car has been serviced regularly at Scott Jaguar in Charlotte, NC.

The only ding on its record: Despite my best efforts to keep this car mint, it was involved in a low speed (5 mph) rear end fender bender in July of 2014 that caused minor cosmetic damage. To an interested buyer, I will provide time and date stamped digital photos of the accident as well as a copy of the body shop invoice to help illustrate the cosmetic nature of the damage. Everything has been restored to 100%, and the car had a fresh professional detail last year including an Opti-Coat 2.0 application (and has not been hand-washed since, only no touch).

This car is a fantastic example of one of the best cars to come out of Jaguar recently. It handles and accelerates at a world class level (very grippy brakes and electronically adjusting suspension with Dynamic and Sport modes), and sounds absolutely amazing with the current exhaust setup. Here is a Youtube video:

The buyer will receive all stock exhaust components should there be a desire to revert it to stock.

Please message me with any questions and for additional pics & videos (I have a bunch of them). Asking price is $35,500, I am not looking for any trades. Thanks for looking!

So beautiful, great price for the mileage too. I would love one of these for my next car but still saving and really want white if possible. Yours sounds very nice, the tone and amount of pop reminds me a bit of the F-type.

I don't want to clutter up your thread, but if you would care to share info about cost of ownership/maintenance/reliability (even though it's still warrantied) I am curious to know more. PM me if you like, otherwise best of luck with the sale.

Thank you for the compliments! No worries I would be glad to share details on ownership. It was something I researched before buying (I cross-shopped the M5, CTS-V, even a GT500) because I wasn't familiar with maintenance on the XFR. I can post up my thoughts here too for the sake of sharing with everyone.

Considering what it is, the cost of ownership has been reasonable. I just had the 30,000 mile service early (hit the 1 year mark before mileage) which included an 8 quart oil change with filter, air filters, cabin air filter, some new wiper blades and fluid and it was $488.80. $210.00 of that was labor, which includes a mandatory $75 diagnostic charge I believe. So parts wise it was not awful for dealership pricing. I could probably take it to an Indy shop and save some cost on labor but I know the tech really well at the dealership and he is REALLY really detail oriented and good so it is worth the piece of mind for me. I looked back and the last oil change-only service was $120.00. And I got a mail in rebate for a free Jaguar-branded Weber grill tool set! Haha awesome.

Other than that, the big maintenance items are tires obviously depending on how aggressively you drive. 20" tires aren't cheap no matter what car you buy them for. After I bought the car and had it looked over by the local dealer I had them do the recall on the E-diff, which was a known TSB for that year, so that was replaced and is basically new. And recently a MAF sensor went out which they also replaced under warranty (could happen on any vehicle). Other than a few pothole mishaps where I had to have a few bent wheels and a tie rod repaired / replaced, the normal maintenance stuff has been surprisingly reasonable for a car with 510+ horsepower and an advanced suspension

If you are looking at these, definitely look for low mileage examples with complete service history and a good warranty and you should have a lot of trouble free miles. There isn't a HUGE aftermarket, but there are a few companies that offer visual and performance mods like pulleys and tunes. Frankly I don't think the car needs more power; the exhaust work I had done gave it a nice mid range and top end power bump and it is more than enough for driving on the street.

Thanks for the compliments on the sound! The Xpipe gave it a nice mid range howl that sounds almost Aston-like. Here are a few more full throttle pulls on a back road for your listening pleasure (~:50s):

Also, these motors have a timing chain so there is no timing belt replacement at 100K+ I would have to look through my service guide but I think in that mileage range there is a supercharger maintenance (removed, oil drained / refilled, unit serviced). Jag built these to last and to be solid commuters. It's one of the few cars I've driven that are civil and comfortable on the way to work and then you could flick it into Dynamic + Sport and take it onto a track.

Thank you for passing along your experience! To be honest I would be happy with one of the lower trims in terms of power, but none of them look as aggressive as the R. I wish they would have offered an R-sport trim on the earlier models (but I don't think they did until 2015?).

I love that you don't see these as much as your Bimmers/Mercs, and honestly I think it does a better job at combining sport/luxury too. I guess my concern comes with owning one out of warranty, as I tend to hold onto my cars for a while. So let me ask you this, would you own this car out of warranty?

Your $488 dealer bill doesn't seem that bad to me really, it takes time to get to the cabin filters and do everything else so I'm surprised it wasn't more. The oil change isn't cheap at $120 but I imagine you do that much less than a standard car (i.e. every 3-4k miles). What about transmission fluid changes? Lexus says you never need change the fluid in the ISF (which I can't believe), is that the way it is on this? Nice that there is no timing maintenance.

How responsive is the transmission? I would prefer a manual but could possibly live with a good paddleshift auto. I agree this car needs no additional power haha, most I would do is maybe wheels and small cosmetic stuff. Wish the headlights/tail lights from the 2012 refresh could be swapped, but the headlights are way different. Maybe the tails aren't, I'm not sure. Those 15" front rotors are insane.

You're welcome! Yes absolutely, the Supercharged trim is another good one to look at because it's almost identical to the R it has just been detuned quite a bit. You do get some of the extra body work and prestige with the R which is nice though as you said...it's very similar to the 550i MSport vs. the M5.

That was one of the other things that drew me to the Jag, you just don't see them much anywhere. BMWs and Mercs are a dime a dozen here, but I can count on 1 hand the number of XFRs / XFR-Ss I've seen (and even XFs in general) in the last two years. It's nice driving something more exclusive that you don't see everyday! I would personally not own this car out of warranty; if I kept it past this warranty date I would probably look at getting another aftermarket warranty of some kind. But frankly that is true for any high-line vehicle (higher end BMW, Audi, Mercs), you generally don't want any of those out of warranty. I also swap cars about every 1-2 years though so I don't every really worry about owning a car out of warranty. This one has a Jaguar warranty until September 2019 or 100k miles, and frankly it's not being driven so you don't have to worry about me hitting the miles So 3 years and 9 months left of warranty for the new owner.

I think the Jag transmission is also a "sealed" transmission but I would likely swap the fluid out at some point in the future as preventative maintenance. Here is the full maintenance schedule for when you are doing your research, 2010/2011 are the same (scroll to page 30-31 for a list of miles/years and recommended maintenance): http://pa.motorwebs.com/jaguar/cover...to_Service.pdf

The ZF transmission honestly is incredible. Does it shift as fast as the dual-clutch versions from BMW/Audi? No, but it is dang close man. For 99% of drivers it shifts plenty fast, either with paddles or in Sport mode. It also rev matches automatically on downshifts in Sport mode or when shifting manually, so awesome. The ZF is a tried and true transmission and I believe is rated to handle more power than the dual clutch trannies. Owners who are modded and running ~100whp more than stock are not reporting any issues at all that I have seen.

The only other things you want to look out for on these as you shop are the quality of the dashboard. The 2010/2011s used a different factory glue than the newer ones and I saw some cars that spent a lot of time in hot areas with the leather warping on the dash. I have kept an OEM sunshade in the dash any time I park it outside and have also kept it regularly cleaned and conditioned with Lexol, so mine is flawless and will stay that way with care. Also keep an eye out for leaking water pumps, that is another known TSB and is usually fixed by the dealer. I have Chris (mechanic) check it every time I have it in for service and mine has been fine, but that's something to keep an eye on. This car has been pretty much as reliable as my TL-S was and is WAY more reliable than my old Cadillac CTS 3.6 DI premium.

I forgot to mention I just had XPEL headlight protection installed a month ago to keep them in good shape Also includes OEM all weather mats, OEM sunshade and OEM rear trunk cargo tray, and a hardwired (but easily reversible/removable) Escort SmartWire (detector not included, I'm gonna bring this over to my truck).

Small price drop to $35,500. Worked with a few very interested buyers so far but no money has exchanged hands yet. Already have a truck spec'd out, just need this to find a new deserving home

Love the sound of the big Cat!!!
I just wish it was Italian Racing Red to match my F-type.
I have drove newer XFR with upgraded 8-speed zf and they are much improved as well as mileage/fuel consumption.
Like you said, ever since TATA took over JLR, both Jag/LR have improved greatly in terms on quality/reliability.
Good luck with sale for amazing price and sounding car!

Thanks man!! Yeah the first XFR I ever test drove was a 2013 in IRR and it was beautiful. I also loved the 8 speed but what I didn't like about the newer models was the start / stop function.

What trim is your F-type?? I'm super jealous. I've talked myself into owning one someday. I would love the R after already owning this engine but honestly in that little car I'd probably be happy with the V6 S

V6 S to be exact.
No need for R.
I drove the R and it's too obnoxious for my liking.
V6 S has more exotic note that gets everyone's attention!!!!
I've never felt that I need more power other that at the track getting passed by GT3/Turbo S.
F-Type is extremely capable car, I was debating over Boxster S/Caymen S/911 and if I had to do it again, I'd still pick F-Type unless i get Boxster Spyder or Cayman GT4.

BTW, i was doing about 2mpg on main straight.
I went into track with full tank of gas. After 2-30 minute sessions, I was dead empty.
Imagine if I had the R..... would probably be doing 1 or less?
Fuel consumption on track isn't that great but on highway, it's pretty good on gas.
