I am considering selling my car. I lost my job and it's getting tough keeping up with payments.

The car is a NBP Type-S with taupe interior, 6 speed manual transmission, and fully loaded. Mileage is at approximately 49k and is running superbly. Tires are original but still have some life left on them. The car has a clear title, and was involved in zero accidents.

I maintained the vehicle to the best of my abilities. Whenever issues came up, I diligently took the car to the dealer to keep the car running as it should. I had several services performed at the Acura dealer under warranty:

a) The infamous 3rd gear synchro issue affected the car. After the dealer replaced whatever they needed to replace, the shifter is like butter and has not given me any problems.

b) The vehicle kept insisting that the fuel cap was loose, even though I always tighten the fuel cap. The dealer changed everything they can possibly replace, including the fuel cap itself, filler neck, sensors, etc. The problem has not come back.

c) The battery died at 40k miles and was replaced.

d) This hasn't been looked at yet, but I intend to take the car in this week...the interior door handles need to be replaced because the finish is coming apart.

There are several cosmetic blemishes worth noting. There is one small paint chip, some scratches on the hood, and curb rashes on several of the wheels. There is also a crack on the windshield, which I had repaired at Safelite to prevent further damage to windshield. Other than that, the car is in great shape.

I had the following modifications installed:

1) USASpec ipod adapter
2) Alpine Type R 10" subwoofer in custom fiberglass enclosure
3) JL 500/1v2 amplier to power the subwoofer
4) Madico Wincos tint (60%) applied to the windows all around
5) moleskin inside all four of the door panels

The sound system and tint were professionally installed by a trusted shop. I would prefer to sell the car as-is, since the parts are all on the car and the sound system is really amazing, but I will also gladly have them removed if the buyer wishes to have the car fully factory-spec.

I just had the oil change done, as well as having new cabin and engine air filters installed.

It's late and I can't think of anything else I should mention for now.

Asking price is $24,000. I am located in Southern California, in the LA/OC area. Thanks for looking.
