I am selling my 1999 3.2TL with 6 speed transmission from 2003 Acura CL-S. I did the swap back in early 2008 (Here is the link to the swap thread). The 6MT has LSD, very smooth shifts, no grinding. It still has the J32A1 motor and ECU. This makes the car think it is still in park, so no speedo, no VTEC, redline at 5K RPMs (in 'safe mode').

I have all other parts to finish the swap (2003 CL-S ECU, 2003 CL-S engine wiring harness, 2003 CL-S speedo, timing components, etc.) besides the motor.. with all the parts (included in the price), you can either put in a J32A2 (from the CL-S) or even a J35.

Just put on two brand new tires, but took out the door speakers and Pioneer CD player.

The cons:
Body is not in great shape.
Hood and grill are damaged and need replacing from a rear-ending (I will get some pics up soon).
Rear passenger door was hit by a runaway tire. Glass is fine and mechanics of the door still work, just need to replace the shell of the door.

Other normal wear-and-tear on paint.. car is 12 years old with original paint.
Hood struts are blown but I have a brand new set waiting to be installed.
Needs new brakes


I need to get a truck or SUV and honestly don't have the time or money to put anything else into the car. I don't want to just sell to a random person because they don't know what it has in it and I don't want the 6MT to go to waste.. I want it to go to an Acura enthusiast and someone who will enjoy it as much as I did.

Bumping this.. car is still for sale but with NO new parts included. CLS6 guages, timing components, wiring, etc all sold.

I am basically selling it as a parts car for someone who needs the 6 speed parts for a project and then can part the rest of the car out. It could be fixed if someone really wanted to use it as the base of their project.

It has all the original swap parts I had in there (see swap thread for work done and parts list). Car still runs great mechanically, but there are still the issues with not having the full swap done; i.e. redline at 5K, no VTEC, no speedo, no cruise, etc. The issues with the running lights and headlights is still there (I think this is a simple wiring fix, just don't have time to look into it).

Even though it still runs, I doubt anyone would want this as their daily driver, especially without the lighting situation fixed.

Recent work done: Changed transmission fluid (was still good level and good color). Replaced front brake pads and hood struts. Will include rear brake pads with sale.

This car has been my daily driver since the swap was done and the transmission has never skipped a beat.

No extra ones, all the parts besides the rear brake pads are on the car.

Transmission/clutch/flywheel, transmission mounts, clutch and brake pedal and hardware, shifter and hardware, ebrake and hardware, clutch master cylinder, slave master cylinder, basically most things mechanical that get the transmission running but no electrical.

Just finished the paperwork on the new car so these are the last pics before it goes into storage until someone wants to buy. I will most likely be taking the battery and stereo out so it may drop the price a hundred or two.
