My daughter's trusty CL 3.0 had a water pump or head gasket fail. She's a starving grad student who can't afford to repair it and I'm on the east coast so can't do for her.
The car has been a super-reliable champ for the last five years.
Major maintenance done:
- Remanufactured transmission
- Timing belt, water pump and pulleys
- Replaced radiator
- Brakes & rotors all round 15K miles ago
- New front axles
- New battery this year

Body is straight and clean. Paint in good condition in need of a fresh polish. One minor scuff of front bumper corner. Interior is in nice shape and complete. All systems work well.
NOTE that the car is not running and needs a water pump or head gasket!
Car is located in San Jose, and can be seen any time with a day's notice.
Great deal for someone able to do a little work to get a nice CL 3.0

Someone on the CL Series 1 forum asked how sure we were that is was only a water pump or head gasket. Fair question.
It starts and runs normally, but quickly builds temperature. The car has been parked since this happened, so there's no collateral damage from driving it overheated.
