Acura TL 1999 - 2014
Description:

This kit should fit any car which uses the 9005/HB3 bulb in the DRL slot. I had these in my 3G TL. Took them out because they're too bright for me. They work and I tested it after uninstalling to make sure of it (as pictured). The harness and load resistors are included here as well: everything you'll need to install. The 25 Ohm resistor goes to the driver side connection and the 6 ohm goes to the passenger side. I labeled the connectors to make it easy to install. The setup is a few years old but the lights have little wear because I always used my low-beams instead of the DRLs during daytime driving. You can contact me via PM on the forum, email (hirnyjv@gmail.com) which is also my hangouts, or call/text (PM me and I will send you my cell number).

$50 shipped for the LEDs + harness. I'll cover paypal fees and shipping costs to the lower 48.

Thanks!
-Vlad

Interested. So these function as both DRL and high beams?

The setup is either on or off - no high beams. For 07-08 TL headlights it will function as a DRL. I'm not sure how it will fit 04-06 as the "fog" light (it's in the regular headlight housing, not on the bumper) in those models uses the HB4/9006 bulb and this kit is HB3/9005. From what I've read, the 9005 bulbs can be installed into the 9006 housing, but not the other way around. Which model and year do you have and how were you hoping to set these up?

Edit - just saw your sig. If you plan to install these in your 07 then they'll pop into the DRL slot no problem. I had them in my 08 - same headlamp assembly.

Funny enough, I figured out my end of the question this afternoon. I bumped the high beams on by mistake, and was surprised when I pulled into the garage and saw xenon glaring back at me. So the inner lights are strictly DRL I guess. I saw your picture, but in your real life opinion how does the color compare to incandescent?

The factory bulbs are warm, definitely yellowish. The LEDs are cooler, look very white, but not so cool that they're blue. I got them because I wanted the all-white setup (got the Switchback LEDs for the turn signals, white LED fog lamps, and white leds everywhere in the interior and the trunk). I originally planned to add a DRL switch mod to the dash so that all 3 headlight bulbs could be on at once but I never got around to it. I might have a picture of what they look like but it would be on one of my external drives - I will check for a photo when I get home. You can expect these to be very white, and very bright. The color matches very closely to the stock D2S bulbs.
