Description:
Just purchased a 2008 TL type S. The original owner resided in a state that required a front license plate. My state does not so I want to remove that tag frame all together
The color I really need is alabaster silver but I think i could spray any color covers i can get my hands on with alabaster silver paint
Just an FYI, Acura says they gotta have ($116 EACH at retail for them!! $81 with our discount)

I sent Datboidennis a PM a few days ago. No response. Doesn't look like he has been around for awhile.
I also contacted my local dealership service manager. He said those plugs were everywhere back in the day... he said he would take a look around the garage & ask some techs but he figures most were tossed years ago.

Struck out with my local dealer. Even called dealers in Dallas & Houston. Texas being a state that has front tag requirements. No luck there either.
I did find a new pair on Ebay for $30 shipped. Much better than the Acura parts department pricing...

You will probably have better luck finding ANY color plugs and painting them as you mentioned. I’ve had to resort to salvage yards and H/A specific shops/mechanics for certain unobtanium parts. Even contacting ppl selling their vehicle to get the smallest items before the sale that most regular purchasers wouldn’t even notice or care if it were missing. Desperate times...lol, good luck
