F to H to K
Been awhile since ive posted anything cause of school and work, but im finally back into the acura spirit with my new RSX purchase, even though i wouldnt call it new at all. I drive a 99 2.3 CL which is currently for sale, and i originally had plans to turbo, but then decided for an H22 swap, and finally ive scrapped both of those and decided for K power after reading alot of Honda Tuning and it defs sounds like K is the way to go. I purchased the 04 RSX for 9 big ones and im starting to wonder if it was a mistake. The body has almost 200,000 on it and is in rough shape, while it was being taken off the truck it was too low and the front bumper was ripped off, taking the hood latch with it. The steering wheel is practially gone, some nice holes in the carpet, as well as missing two inner fenders which i have ordered. But i didnt buy this thing for looks. It has a complete k20z1 block with 16k claimed miles, and a stock unported k20a2 head, k20Z1 prc cams, ARP headstuds, JDM ITR PRC intake manifold with AEM v2 intake, Comptech Stainless Shorty Header + RandomTech High-Flow 50 State Legal Cat Replacement Pipe Comptech Stainless Exhaust System, Hondata ITR reflash was JUST done, H&R fully adjustable coilovers, and the 2nd and 3rd gears were just replaced. Going from an Auto F23 to the K20 is defs going to be a huge power increase but i know i am going to miss the looks of my baby CL. Tell me what you guys think, was it worth it in your opinion? I just want to know im not getting ripped off.
