Spacers...
Hey everyone
Question. Anyone running 10mm spacers? How many turns did you get with the lug nuts?
I ask because I cant fit 20mm spacers due to the dual bolt pattern on my Work Wheels not fitting 2 out of 5 studs properly.
5mm seems pointless so Id like to go 10mm but not sure how save it will be on oem studs. Extended studs are out of the question as my VS-MX have lug covers and extended studs would hit the caps.
Just for pics... while on OEM wheels with the GarageLine 20mm spacers I can no longer use. Rear only. If anyone if interested in purchasing LET ME KNOW. 20mm with studs 5x114

Any spacer over 5mm with out extended studs is a no no. People have calculated on stock studs 5mm is as safe as you can be for the lug nut to have enough splines to tighten down.

Ahhh. So that is pretty much in general? Sounds like decent advice.
I don't want to go with extended studs as I am worried they wont clear my wheel caps that cover them.
Sad day. I can grind down my oem studs to safely fit 15mm spacers with built in studs but I m not going to grind down my stock studs as I assume that wouldnt be great if I wanted to go back to not using spacers.

I suggest GarageLine over H&R. H&R is a great company, but GarageLine is built in America. They even ship little green US army toys to show support. hahaha
Plus they look great. Anodized black with metallic GarageLine logo. Very clean.

As I already stated I can only run spacers with studs if I grind down my oem studs which I am not willing to do. The 20mm spacers I already have wont fit and need 5mm of grinding. 15mm spacers would need 10mm grinded off the stud, fuck that no way. Im fine without spacers. My only other option is to find extended studs that will fit under the center cap after the 15mm spacers. Then Id probably run 5mm upfront and enjoy until its time to go lower.

Happens on the internet.

Im running 1" spacers all around. Looks pretty damn nice. You have to remember to install in a criss cross motion and torque at 95. Morons at the tires shops will over torque them and will throw the wheels off balance.

I also went with 25mm spacers from GarageLine.
Wheel Spacers - Welcome to GarageLine - Sport Compact Performance Parts
25mm spacers on 18x8 +35 wheels and 215/40 tires.
25mm spacers = about 1in show when I rebuild my wheels to 18x9 they will fit like this exactly but much more lip. If I go 9.5 I'll have to run more camber.

So wait, your running 25mm all around with the x8s? and you previously mentioned that with the stocks you can't run 20mm? Reason I ask is because when I lower my car and run my stocks I was planning on running 20mm in the front and 25mm in the rear. pm if anything, thanks bro!
