2016 ILX - 16 inch wheels and snow tires?

I am getting conflicting advice from my dealer.

I have had my 2016 ILX Tech (17" wheels) for a few months now. On my old 2013 ILX Tech (also 17" wheels) I had a set of snow tires on 16" alloy rims (originally 16" ILX Hybrid alloy rims, which I got on sale from the dealer). Some guys at the dealer tell me that I can use these on my new 2016, but others seem to think they won't fit.

Can anyone set the record straight?

Thanks.

Yeah, that's what they are saying they're going to do at the dealer.

Just a bit frustrating that no one seems to know. It would be nice to know ahead of time if I'm going to have to cough up for a new set of rims + snows, particularly since I'm crazy enough to pay the $$$ for new alloy rims..

I believe that the '16's received NO CHANGES
which means your winter set will be able to put on.

now if the '16s changed bolt pattern, then no it will not fit

That is what the second guy at the dealer said - that the bolt pattern is the same, so there should be no problem.

Thanks!

Bolt pattern is the same but brakes are bigger, should probably still fit.

Just Bought a 2017 ILX and same problems. At the beginning, The dealer service advisor said will be fit but after checking with my tech since the new version have a bigger brakes. It needs 17" rims. Also, dealer confirmed they are only selling 17"or 18" rims to 2016 and 2017 ILX.
