Aftermarket Wheel and Increased Wind Noise

Hi All,
I recently upgraded my wheels to aftermarket.
It is 18x8.5 and +35 offset.
I cannot help but notice increased wind noise.
This is more pronounced at lower speed like 30~40 mph.
Does anyone else who upgraded aftermarket wheel has same issue?

Thanks

Troubleshoot by swapping back to your OEM wheels and tires.
if no added wind noise, then YES it is your aftermarket wheels and tires.

Thanks..
That was part of my plan.
Do you think the multi-spokes design and more gaps between spokes may cause the wind to resonance inside fender?

What DO I THINK?
I think you should swap wheels back to OEM to find out the answer.

because anything other than a direct result will be suspicion.

and we can play the suspect game ALL DAY!
maybe its this?
maybe its that?
you wont know until you swap back to OEM.

2016+ wheels actually have anti-noise resonators in the wheel, so switching those to aftermarket will CERTAINLY cause a change

Do the ASPEC wheels also reduce noise?

It definitely reduced the noise after going back to OEM

Well..
After putting my OEM wheels back for experiment, it DEFINITELY REDUCED NOISE.
This resonator thing is real thing I suppose..
