2013 ILX 2.4 - Transmission Speed Sensor is making contact with gear

2013 ILX 2.4 - Transmission Speed Sensor is making contact with gear
2013 ILX 2.4 w/ manual transmission. I have been through four transmission speed sensors in 4 months. There are gouge marks on the end of the sensors so I assume they are making contact with the gear on the output shaft. Is it possible the output shaft shifted inside the case? No speedo causes the entire car to go into crisis mode.The car otherwise drives fine. Very little info online on this transmission.

Did you try taking it to the dealer? That could be a very serious issue.

Yea, they are taking a look at it. The gouge marks are very slight, but enough to damage the magnet. Something is like .001 - .002 off. on the gear.
