Lol... It wasn't intentional. It's one of our co-worker vehicle in the bay and also happened to be aired out and sitting on the ground.

Mike, can you do an ILX spring DIY like your TLX? I just did my springs and unfortunately, after a day of having them on, I notice some clunks, clicking from the fronts after hard parking and turning the wheel at low speeds.

A detailed DIY like your TLX would help immensely as I'll have to rebuild them soon and it would help to have a guide line.

Thanks!!

Definitely will put something together for ya'll very soon.

On the noise, check and make sure the springs are sitting in the struts upper and lower bases. Springs should slide into the rubber gasket. Also inspect the front upper bearings/mounts and make sure they are in place correctly. Lastly, check all bolts and nuts and make sure they are all tight, specially the nut (top/center of the strut) that hold the spring and strut together.

Well, looks like 2016 ILXs front suspension is different from the 13-15 ILXs.

Changes of the front suspension includes: struts, spindles, lower control arms and much bigger front calipers & discs.

Going to be super fun .....

I believe to compensate the larger and heavier 2.4DI w/8DCT powertrain.

Pics on IG look great.

Any confirmation if the new let fogs you put on there will fit a 2013?

Is this possible/feasible? How much do you think it would cost?

Definitely possible and feasible, just depends how much your shop wants to charge you. I've seen quotes from $500-$1200 for my 2015 ILX. They would pretty much chop the muffler off and weld in a Y pipe. Then extend the exhaust pipe across the spare tire bed and bend it 90 degrees towards the back. From there, weld on dual exhaust tips for both sides. Makes the car louder, but I'm not sure how much. I'm very tempted to try this, but I like my quiet car too much right now

Hey @Chan_Mike, Maybe if you figure out that quad exhaust set up, I'll figure out the Ice-Box intake setup, and we can compare notes after? lol
