My very first car

This year I bought my very first car, started working at a job for my career for the past year and been saving money since that year and this year my contract has gotten extended and I needed a new car. I had a 03 Toyota Rav 4 and I started getting worried cause I didn't want the break lines fail on me again. This happened to me 3 years ago with a 2000 Honda civic.

So I went out and leased a 2016 ILX A-Spec w/ 30% tint + winter mats + winter rims

$237 bi-weekly for 4 years on 20k a year KM's (Canadian)

2016 ILX A-Spec w/ 30% Tint

I just ordered these from amazon

Philips 12834UNIX2 X-tremeVision LED Fog Lamp H8/H11/H16 (pack of 2)

Can't wait to put those in!

I love this car! nice and quick and I love that 8 speed gearbox

$237 every 2 weeks? So monthly is $474? Damn. I thought I was paying a ton at $365 a month.

Didnt know dealerships set up biweekly payments. Sounds odd to me.

Its actually more lol. 237 Bi-weekly is 513 a month. Keep in mind sales tax is higher in Canada, and the sticker prices are also higher to compensate for the FX difference.

Leasing seems to be getting more and more common these days, it's a good alternative, but in the long run, it's not efficient for several various reasons...

And dang, that's a lot for an ILX...

It's nice and +1 on the LED fogs!!!

Enjoy your ILX!!!

Not really sure? I was dealing with the manager of the place. I thought $243 bi-weekly was reasonable for a A-SPEC ILX?

Making me feel like I got a bad deal :-(

This is Ontario and sales tax fucking sucks.

$365 a month? no way that's in Canada or a A-spec trim level even a nav trim

Woot, good to see proper LED fogs on other ILX's out there... They shoulda had the Philips H11 LED bulbs as standard on the A-Spec trim

Actually $237 Canadian dollars is equal to $184.49 US dollars

So in translation to us in the USA $184.49 x2 =$368.98 monthly. So it looks like OP is paying almost the same amount you're paying.

Good catch. That makes much more sense.

The wheels don't look too bad on the black car... Black cars look more aggressive maybe... I don't know... Now I'm starting to like the 16's more... kinda hated the changes at first...keep growing on me...
