2013-2015 ILX with 2016 ILX OEM LED Fog Light
Well..... Does it fit? Does it work?
YES! YES! No cutting, drilling or retrofitting. Just Plug and Play.
Owner with 2013-2015 ILXs, seeking to upgrade their OEM halogen fog light to the all new 2016 ILXs OEM LED Fog Light, here is what you will need:
2013-2015 ILXs (Premium and Tech Model): 2016 LED Fog Light Housing kit, Acura part number #08V31-TX6-2A0, MSRP at $675.00
2013-2015 ILXs (Base Model): 2016 LED Fog Light Housing kit, Acura part number #08V31-TX6-2A0 and 2013-2015 Fog Light kit (for the harness since base models don't come with fog light), Acura part number #08V31-TX6-201, MSRP at $286.77

The installation is pretty straight forward. Simply remove the fog light covers, then remove the 2 phillip screws that hold the fog light housing, remove the harness clip that attached to the back of the fog light housing, unplug the fog light connector, then put everything back.

Thank you sir!
At near 700 it isn't a cheap lighting swap but it does look sweet. I want these!

Great job on the fog light upgrade. Are these lights bright white or yellow light. If you have the models w/o fog lights, is there factory wiring for fog lights behind the cover or does this need to be installed? Does the kit include the on/off switch and wiring that leads to the interior?
Thanks

You'll have to purchase the wiring kit from your dealer/estore which would also include the new stalk for the steering wheel.
Part of the connective wiring exists (connections between the firewall) but hookup harness will provide power to the front lights + wiring for under your dash/steering column is what you'll end up purchasing from your dealership.
You can just get the wiring harness kit, and use an aftermarket set of LED fogs from TheRetrofitSource.com. The Morimotos are a great drop-in unit that will provide a very wide beam. (a complete set of Morimoto fogs + OEM harness would run you about $450 tops)
Otherwise you can purchase the OEM housings separately, (from the Aspec parts catalog) and use a set of drop in LED bulbs from Philips to get a bright 5500K LED look. Looks great for a color match for the '16 models, though if your running a 13-15 with HIDs, the Morimoto units at their 5000K color will match better.
Doing the OEM fog housing + Philips bulbs might be a little bit more, but its still less then the near $700 cost of the entire OEM LED + Harness setup would run you.

Standard Lights
So I have a 2014 base model and am looking to add the standard 2013-2015 fog lights to my car. Besides the nearly $300 for the oem kit does anyone have any ideas on how much an Acura or Honda dealer would charge to install them?

They would charge ... TOO MUCH... find a great local shop, ask and compare prices if you don't believe me. Plus technically dealers aren't supposed to (and don't really like to) add stuff to cars that are not specifically made for that EXACT car, even if it is OEM parts. They might do it tho.

Anyone got pics of the light pattern/output of these OEM LED?
Trying to see if I should drop $500 for these or get the Morimoto ones.
