Adding Rear Deck Speakers to 2017 ILX Premium

I noticed the 2017 ILX Premium has the covers and space for two rear deck speakers however there are no actual speakers installed. Is it possible to buy the OEM speakers from the Tech Plus model and have them installed without any issues? Did some searching online and found part number 39125-TX6-A01.

You can but where are you going to get the audio signal? The ELS audio system in the Tech uses a different amp vs the one in the premium.

I would buy an 4ch Amp and 2x additional speakers, then you can wire all 4 speakers in the rear shelf (minus the sub). If you want some lows, get another amp just for the sub!

The premium audio system is garbage, I ended replacing all my speakers except the doors lol and added 2 amps.
