Sunshade for My ILX
What up. So I already have the front windshield tinted with 3m high heat reduction but very light color, I was looking at still getting a sunshade anyway to help cutdown on the interior heat. Cali sun gets crazy. So Im trying to decide between these - what ya guys think? They're around the same price. I want something fun since this would be a second layer anyway. The Evangelion / EVA Racing ones are reversible. Yeah I know there are better ones, so feel free to post about the really good ones like Covercraft if you got one.

Last but not least. Oh also I did find some other bad ass ones like the paparazzi ad ones, but you cant actually buy those. Feel free to suggest some fun/sexy/ or funny ones. But only if I can actually buy them.

uh... I think if ya shop around its any where from 30ish to 50ish. Just depends on the website. There are other eyes (expressions) too, but my car is black so the "face" part above the eyes would have to be black. These particular eyes come in black.

Styling aside, something light colored and reflective (especially both sides) helps reduce the heat from getting into the car.
I just have the standard silver accordion style one and yes it is a big help here in Texas.

Alright so heres a small review to help anyone who gets a legit JDM windshield sunshade. So I ended up getting this DAD sunshade - for some reason they were out of MOM's... oh well... The size is 1300mm by 600mm. It covers most of the windshield lengthwise, about 95%. So if you want it to overlap, get something slightly bigger. And height wise, I think you could go 700mm (common JDM sizes). But I have stuff hanging from/by my mirror, 700mm would hit that stuff. I have a limo tint strip at the top too, so I'm good. At 700mm I think you could use the visors that fold down to help hold it in place. At 600mm, only the edge is under those visors, it wont hold it all. But mine has suction cups that work really well. It has made a BIG difference. Even tho I have a JP dashmat, and 3M superlight UV and heat blocker tint on the windshield, this takes it up a notch. Unfortunately my parking situation is mostly leaving the car in direct sunlight, so anything helps. A couple pics included, also a couple updates to my car. My authentic JDM mini VIP tables (got more, rearranged them) They light up with blue LED, except the driver side. I added the OEM front lip and OEM colormatched bodyside molding. I'm also trying to import one more VIP table, I'm probably gonna put that one on the center armrest. It's a double drink holder and it is powered by the cig lighter to also light up with blue LED. Then also I want to import 2 mini VIP trays for the back seats, they go on the back of the driver/passenger seats. They will also light up with blue LED. Then I'll be done with interior.

Oh also curtains help with the sun/ heat. I open them up when I leave the car parked. If anyone is thinking of doing that it works well, BUT you need window tint first, because if not the curtains will fade , probably pretty fast. I think they'll fade, even with tint, over time.

This sunshade was only 36 bucks, if ya like it you could order it online at Autofashion USA, but it'll take a few months to come in from Japan. By the way someone reminded me that Michael Jackson died almost 5 years ago on June 25th 2009. So in a month all his crazy fans are gonna be having all kinds of memorials and stuff in LA, probably other places. prepare.... soooooooon.......
