New ILX A-Spec Owner
Hi everyone-
Just wanted to check in and say "hey". I've been a Honda vehicle owner since my first Civic back in the mid-70's. Currently owner of two Acura's: 2020 RDX Advance and my beloved 2004 TSX with now over 347,000 miles and still going strong.
Anyway, my wife and I were looking for another daily beater as a lease, and we were looking at a Honda Accord Touring Edition, but when we paid a visit to our dealer in Portland OR for servicing our RDX we saw a red ILX A-Spec which my wife loved immediately. We test drove it and took care of the paperwork the same day. It's a blast to drive and being a three-year lease we may purchase it or trade in for a TLX. We will see in 2024!

Its a fun car to have, especially now.
At least there are a few fun mods you can do now. Tunes, intakes, exhaust, Pre-Cat-Deletes, wheels/suspension, and the swaybars (2014-15 Si spec bars fit, just look for those for cross-compatibility from Eibach and the like).
Its a fun little Big-Block K24 Civic as far as I'm concerned, and feels just like a modern-day 4 door Integra GS-R or TSX.

Great choice of a car. I believe 21’ is the last MY of the ILX as a whole. Acura is going to change the name. It’s supposed to come out next year which will have a Type S which is the one I’ll be getting when my X2 lease is over. Also love seeing that TSX. I’ve seen so many 2nd Gen ones but not 1st Gen. congratulations!!

Yeah it really is a rare model then especially since it’s the manual. That TSX will last you a long long time that’s for sure. Can’t wait to join the Acura family next year!!
