Lowered my ILX, now need an alignment.
Question: What's the purpose of an alignment if the Camber and Caster on the ILX is not adjustable (?) .....or so I've read. I understand the reason why an alignment is needed (tire wear, perormance,...etc), but if the camber/caster can't be adjusted without a camber kit, why get an alignment done....other than for toe adjustment? Am I missing something? Are there any minor adjustments that can be made without a kit?

You should be fine after just a spring install since the rest of your suspension wasnt touched.
However lowering the car will increase negative camber. Some would say to adjust your toe and caster to balance the wear from that camber but the minimal amounts shouldnt be a big deal.
An alignment wouldnt hurt but it could be a waste.
Im not sure about the ilx specific but id say the caster are able to be adjusted if anything without a degree or so. Same for camber and toe on many cars.
Drive down a straight road and see if the steering still feels square. If it feels fine than youre good. You shouldnt have to worry about toe with springs. Any lowet and id say get an alignment.
