ILX is Gone... Horrible trade in Value
So I was forced to trade the car in due to my divorce and my ex-wife having her name on the title.
3 different dealerships came back with 17,500 max for trade in.
Fair warning lol. Maybe it's my local area but I couldn't get anyone to budge.
Picked up a 2011 Mercedes C300 4Matic Sport Sedan. $23,000 with 37,600 miles.

Nah they squeezed your balls cuz you're getting divorced and had to do it. Kicked you while you were down... I believe you, I'm just confident people cant get at least 5 grand more if they have time to shop to more dealers. Or even more to private party.

Private party would have brought more but I didn't have time to waste with it.
The dealer absolutely wouldn't budge in the price. The first car I was interested in they let go to auction because they "couldn't" get me what I wanted in trade.

KBB was $20,000 with your model, excellent condition trade in. You were in a squeeze, I would have told them to pound sand. When I bought my ILX I traded in a 2011 Honda CRZ with KBB of $12K trade in, they offered me $8K. I walked out and they gave chase. Got the $12K

You bite the bullet when trading in modded cars. Sorry to hear. Nice pick up though!! Good luck!

Had a $21k offer from a my Nissan dealership (just selling car, not buying another) for my 2013 ILX Hybrid Tech in mint condition w/ 22k miles... ILX just aren't selling too well in general and there it's dead inventory for some dealerships

A lot of luxury and near-lux brands suffer from staggering depreciation over the first few years. In my experience, Acura as a brand tends to hold less value (on a percentage basis) than Honda.

Id agree on that^^ Being that Acura is a luxury brand it is now characteristic for the increased initial value and heavily depreciated value once driven off the lot; like Mercs and BMWs as well. Id be willing to say CLA owners are in the same boat.
