Anyone out there who has a 2016 ILX come from a 1st gen TSX? I am considering the ILX over the TLX due to the size, but want to to know opinions on how similar or different the ILX is. I love my TSX - perfect size and combination of features and of course, reliability.

Thoughts?

I traded my 08 TSX for a '16 Premium ILX. I went with the Premium because 17' wheels are more practical for a car I'll drive 25K miles a year. If you liked the interior dimensions of the 1st gen TSX you will like the interior dims of the ILS - they are the same. The ride is a little firmer in the ILX - not quite as cushy, but it also handles flatter than the TSX (without as much steering communication though) and is quicker. The engine music is also more fun, and if you don't mind blowing through the viscosity of your oil in only 4-5000 miles, sport mode is a hoot and a half. To me migrating from an 1st gen TSX to a '16 ILX has been the perfect solution to find a replacement for its driving pleasure and dependability as a daily driver.
