2016 Acura ILX Valve Cover HELP!!
So I decided to do my own valve cover gasket replacement and I am sitting here trying to figure out how the heck do you replace the tube seals??
I have done these many times on other verhicles but I must be missing something with these since the seals seem to have some sort of screws that I do not see lol
ANYONE HELP!!!

As far as I know, that cover for the K24 does not have removable plug well seals. Back when I checked, there were no individual seals available from Honda so they come with the cover. I ended up purchasing the entire cover when I had to replace the gasket. It was around 130 and came with the 4 plug seals installed, perimeter gasket, and small underside gasket that if I remember right is for the PCV inlet towards the center of the cover (underside). There may be some models or VINs that have replaceable ones like the standard Earth dreams engines but Honda did things differently on the Acura variants.
If they are not damaged, they should seal right back up un less you already have problems with oil leaking down with the plugs. At that point you may want the cover.
Also be sure to seal all of the joints around the head, especially around the high pressure fuel pump. Think there are 6 joints altogether. There is a bolt torque sequence and a very low torque number. I'd have to look that up though.
