Its good, for the price. But there are definitely better flat panel tv's out there if you are willing to spend more $$.

Picking one up tomorrow for the bedroom.

And you're right, the AVS forum really liked it.

Me too.

I was in BB yesterday and decided to take a look at it. Since our bedroom TV was about to die, I convinced the wife that we should buy it

I read the posts on AVS Forum which helped with my decision. I signed up for Reward Zone on-line and printed the coupon so the price was indeed $615 + tax (and an $8 recycle fee )

This LCD is replacing an old 20" CRT in our bedroom as well. Right now its being fed by the Echostar 301 satellite receiver (standard definition using S-Video inputs) and our DVD/VCR combo player (component input for DVD, coax input for VCR). The standard def. picture isn't fantastic but its still an improvement on the old 20" CRT. The DVD picture over the component input is excellent (480p). I can only imagine what the HD signal would look like.

I recently (3 months ago) purchased a 37 in version for 1300. I'm very happy with it. There are a few annoying little things, but overall i'm happy. It's screen size/zoom options are pretty limited, and if you set the audio to go through external speakers, the TV doesn't remember the settings once you turn it off. Both relatively minor though. I can't believe the 32 in is that cheap

Best Buy has Westinghouse W3213 HD 32" Flat-Panel LCD HDTV available for $540 (add to cart to see lower price). Shipping is about $60, or choose store pickup, since it's available at most stores. You may also be able to use a 12% RewardZone coupon making your price $475 if successfull during pickup. Thanks dealcatcher123

Alternatively, you may also try using $20 off $175 coupon and if you received the email, its online version. Thanks BiG DoGN12 and bigbrother

I brought my backlight down to almost nothing, reduced the saturation, and backed off a bit on the contrast. Its a bedroom set so we usually watch it in a darkened environment anyways.

edit: don't forget that each input has its own settings. Mine are for the s-video input.

H 26
S 2
B 22
i'm using component for the dvd and the coax for the plain directv receiver

But isn't it $300 less at JR.com? I was told to avoid Crutchfield as their prices are about 20% higher even when they put something on sale.

$200...But they charge shipping. And Crutchfield has a great warranty service so, its worth it to me...

Geez...Who do you think you're talking to?

I have DTV...For now, I have an SD dvr in the bedroom, but once I go Verizon fios TV, I'll be able to use HD as well as stream all recorded shows from the DVR in the living room. I might hook up my PS2 to it as well.
