Thumbs up to Samsung Service!!
So I have a 56" DLP and lately it'll just shut off automatically. Sometimes it goes days without doing it, sometimes it'll do it 15 minutes after startup. Well I was out of warranty and contacted samsung. They extended my warranty and said they'd send a tech out. Well I was thinking, that's useless, i doubt i'll be able to replicate the problem with the tech here.
Well the tech showed up this morning....with a new board in hand!!! Swapped out it and voila (well, he's swapping it out as we speak...so no voila yet ;) ) |

Final outcome, the board he brought was different then the one I had (I guess Samsun had two different boards for my TV) What he did end up doing is replacing the engine (new bulb, everything). If the TV has the problem again, he'll bring a new board) |

I almost got pure Samsung through the house. they make good stuff.
I got a 52 inch Samsung DLP. Samsung fridge Samsung stove Samsung Microwave. although i do have a fridgedaire dishwasher but that's only cause samsung doesn't make a one. |
