RGB vs CMYK Output
Hi,
My DVD player has an option to select RGB or CMYK output. Just what is the difference in term of watching DVD on a TV?
Thanks!

The levels of video connections are from worst to best:
Coaxial - screw on connection
Composite - red, white, and yellow
S-Video - composite but video is the black connection with teeth
Component - red green blue for video and white and red for audio
HDMI - one single digital connection for both audio and video
I posted this because I'm not sure what the abbreviations for yours stand for.

I am sorry. I double check the selection. It is RGB output or Y/Cb/Cr output; not CMYK output.
It says:
"You can select the color space for HDMI output. Set the appropriate color space for your display device..."
"...when the connected device is not compatible with the Y/Cb/Cr, HDMI signal is output as RGB regardless of the setting."
So... what is different?

If your TV will accept the Y/Cb/Cr use that.
Y/Cb/Cr will eventually get converted to RGB by your TV. The easiest way I can explain why people use Y/Cb/Cr is that it plays nicer than RGB when sent over wire.
