RF interference?

I'm having big problems with RF devices in the new house. It started with the WiFi, it only works on Channel 6 and it goes from full signal to no signal at all if encryption is used (tried 3 routers in multiple locations using multiple PC's).

Now, I have a Harmony 890 with an RF Extender controlling devices in a media cabinet... but the extender only receives 1 out of 20 commands.

However, if I bring the extender and the remote into the garage... they work fine.

I also get barely any cell reception inside the house. However, cordless phone seems to work fine.

I tried turning off every appliance, light, and electronic device in the house to get the remote to work but still no go.

Any ideas
