Moving dish network receiver?

Hey, i have dish network, trying to move the reciever box to another TV. and since DN doesnt allow more than 5 recievers per home, i had to connect 2 of my tvs, one up stairs, and one downstairs(they can only view one channel, at the same time).

I am trying to move my receiver to the other roo,, which has the tv that it is connected to.

any help would be appreciated..

Advice on what? I don't understand what you are looking for help regarding.

You have six televisions and five receivers. Two of the TVs need to be hooked to the same receiver.

^ I'm with Stogie... not exactly sure what you're trying to do. Little more info (or the same info, just stated more clearly) would help...

If you go to where all your satellite connections come together, there should be 5 outgoing lines. If you turn on the tv from which you wish to move the receiver, and then go and unplug the 5 wires one by one from the junction, you will be know which wire is feeding that reciever, when the picture goes out. Now run a new line from the new room to that same port at that junction, and you're good to go.
