Is this any good? I saw this one at costco for $400ish. My dvd player is broken so thinking about upgrading with some 5.1 sound system. yay or nay?

Hard to say, but if you're buying from Costco, you could try it at home and if you don't like it, return it no questions.

just personally I wouldnt buy a theater in a box...especially from denon. they make incredible receivers and dvd players- but speakers, I dunno. Piece one together as you can afford it, it will be well worth it in the long run.
