Which to get for a kitchen and why?

I don't think it matters. I have WPC flooring in my basement and it's great. Sucked to cut it though, needed a new saw blade after that adventure.

I've been back and forth on the "Luxury vinyl" flooring vs wood look tile; struggling to get over putting down vinyl and wonder if buyers want to see it in their future home just yet.

Are both of these quiet, especially with dogs? I know our dogs feet/claws are super loud on traditional laminate so I'm wondering if this is the same with vinyl.

The luxury vinyl flooring is a bit more dog-friendly and certainly kid-resistant. I got commercial grade stuff from Home Depot.

I love my Luxury Vinyl, it takes a beating from the dogs and from stuff that I've dropped on it. Much better than ceramic that's for sure

It's not the same thing as sheet vinyl of old. Most buyers wouldn't be able to tell the difference between vinyl planks and laminate planks of the same quality.

My understanding is WPC is quieter as the core has foam bubbles and is also more feet friendly. here is the SPC I am looking at; https://www.msisurfaces.com/vinyl-fl...core-prescott/

Just wanted to bump this because I'm so tired of tiling floors, showers, backsplashes, etc. I'm not sure how I missed following up with @SamDoe1 but I understand it's different then a full sheet of vinyl but I'm still not sure if it turns people off like laminate does. I know laminate can look good but it seems it doesn't really increase value like ceramic and we were looking at laminate in houses as an eventual tear out floor, like we will be doing upstairs.

Luxury Vinyl Plank is actually more expensive then most of the tile we're looking at so I'm trying to decide if the extra time for tile install will bring us more re-sale value. The other issue is that our dogs claws sound so loud on plank vs tile. I suck with cutting my dogs claws so maybe that's on me.

^ I replied in your other thread but the tile may be cheaper but the all in cost will likely be a lot higher. With LVP, all you need is an underlayment, which is cheap, and that's it. With tile you need mortar, cement board and screws (if you have plywood underneath), more mortar, tiles, grout, spacing thingys, etc and then the larger amount of labor to do it.

Since it came up again . . .

I went with WPC in the kitchen and SPC in the bathroom. The WPC is softer underfoot and also warmer.
