Thanks, man. I'm happy with the way it turned out. Now to paint an accent wall and find some art for over the tub. Can't wait to see my little chandelier go in.

The floor tiles are very large - 12"x24". The pebbles are just the shower floor (not sure how obvious that was. The rest of the floor is still covered, but will post a final pic when we get the vanities and lights in.

What do you mean bothered by it? Aesthetically or functionally? Yes, it's double-sided into the living room so we can enjoy the dying fire when we go to sleep.

I haven't checked this thread in a while and I'm really digging the stone you chose for the kitchen and the recycled glass in the bathroom. Deck looks awesome too! I can imagine you reading a book there... I'm sure you can't wait for the house to be finished!

Nice touch on the rock gift!

We are on the home stretch, finally. We have electricity and water. The well was just shocked, and we're having it tested this week. Hopefully we pass the first round.

The countertops and vanity tops went in yesterday. The floors are in, and they're sanding and finishing the rest of this week. Starting the kitchen backsplash Monday.

They'll probably power wash this week, and get the interior cleaned up and touched up next week. Assuming the well passes and the inspections pass, we are on target to make deadline...barely.

Holy cow, this has been hard. But so worth it - I can't wait!

The final grading is finished and the disrupted land has been strawed and seeded. Hoping to have grass grow this season so we don't have to put the silt fence back up.

Looks fantastic!

One question though...

Why the spaces around the vanities? I feel like that's just asking for shit to fall and get stuck all the way in there. Are the spaces going to be filled in with something? I can't tell if it's enough space to reach an arm back there but it would still be annoying IMO.

We preferred 2 vanities instead of one for sharing/cleaning reasons. One less thing to annoy each other about.

It is enough space to easily reach in and to vacuum, etc. Any minor annoyance caused by the space will be offset in spades by having our own separate spaces.

Gorgeous!

And now is the perfect time to seed, so as long as you get some rain, you should have no problem getting grass before winter.

Oh good. The part they seeded a couple of weeks ago has already grown in nicely, but it's gotten a lot colder since then - I'm glad to know it's still a good time.

I really like your choices in flooring finishes. The "country" sink is nice too. Not so hawt on the vanity counter top though, but an easy change if you ever sell. The land plot is still looking awesome, I'm a little jealous.

Awesome. Every thing looks fantastic. Though just an observation and personal opinion, i thing it may have looked better if the cabinet maker reversed the drawers and door to be opposite of the one on the right to the one on the left and maybe pushed the to apart to touch the walls and put a small piece of matching stone in between the 2 vanities but a few inches down to add a little more counter space and to help catch things from falling to the floor. But either way things look great!
