Is there a sound deadening clear film for windows?

Our new place has double pane windows. They all work great at isolating outside sounds except for the window in the bedroom. For some reason the bedroom window passes some traffic noise through, but it changes the nature of the noise. Its like listening to an echo with a can and string. Some frequencies are somewhat amplified, most are attenuated. It appears that the sound somehow reverberates in the space between the panes of glass. It sounds a little creepy at night. I guess one option is to get heavy drapes but I was wondering if there is a clear film or coating that I could apply to the inside of the window, something that can change/dampen the vibration of the glass pane and thereby, hopefully, reduce this noise transmission. Anyone know of anything like this? I'm open to ideas.

Sure it's not getting in around the window? Are there any drafts around it?

^^ Still searching but at least I know I'm not crazy and the house isn't haunted.

I hear more sound through some of my double pane casement windows than others, but there are all kinds of things that can affect it. One of them has a draft near it, but not around it that I can locate. I'm sure someday if I ever reside and rewrap the house I'll find out what it is.
