I don't. And just like you, I put it down before we drove a car in the garage.
My theory is that the concrete may have still had some residual water in it at the time of application. It pulled up where the tires sat after a drive. Both cars.
I've heard some of these work, but the floor has to be prepped beyond perfection. Are you paying someone to do it? If so, maybe I'd be inclined to try it again as long as there is a guarantee it won't come off the floor.

^Like all coatings/paints is all about prep work. Since you're garage floor is practically a virgin yours should hold up fairly well (I hope).
Yea, we bought the sealer for our granite. Well, after reading, our dark uba tuba is so nonporous that it's completely unnecessary.

Have you guys ever considered the rubber tiles? I'm considering these for our basement but they make garage tiles too...

$2-4 sq/ft isn't that bad imo... And it looks fantastic.

Couple of things to do before you epoxy coat your floor.
1) Tape a piece of Saran Wrap with duct tape tightly to the floor
2) After a day or so check for moisture under the Saran. If there is moisture, the concrete has not cured. Wait and try again in a few weeks
3) Once the floor has cured, acid etch the floor with muriatic acid. You cannot do this enough. The floor should feel VERY rough to the touch when done. Make sure you rinse the floor VERY well to remove the acid.
4) Once floor is completely dry, apply epoxy according to mfgr instructions.

It's an easy check before you spend all the time and $$$ putting the coating down. Tearing up a failed coating is gonna be a bitch.
I honestly can't remember which product I used but it still looks great. Only one car in the 2-car garage right now so the other bay is just storage.

bar will be in the basement....we are not finishing the basement right now because I have seen a ton of people put a bar/theater room down there and never use it....I would like the basement to be something we will use on day to day basis....
for now the bar will be in the Hutch in the dining room
hahaha yeah it does sound like it....only for now though

My new Trane is gigantic, powerful, and the most efficient they make but I'd totally want dual zones!
How much sq ft do you have again? Basement?
