Selling Pavers

I have a bunch of pavers that came with the house that I've decided not to use. I'd hate to give them away. Azine, what do you think is a reasonable asking price for them?

If my calculation is correct, there is enough to do roughly 204 sq. ft. in this pattern:

If my count is correct, I have extra square pavers. This may be true as not all of them were installed. I have 332 squares, and 818 triangles.

Most of these made up the original patio, but there was a stack of them not installed (I am not sure what the previous owners were planning to do with them). The squares may have also been used as a border, too...I don't remember

Anywho...what can I get for them?

Here they are taking up space in my garage:

Aha! I found them on Home Depot's website. They squares are $0.67 each and the triangles are $0.49 cents each.

Squares: http://www.homedepot.com/Outdoors-Ga...1#.UKBaruOe-pY

Triangles: http://www.homedepot.com/Outdoors-Ga...1#.UKBa3OOe-pY

$0.67 x 332 = ~$222
$0.49 x 818 = ~$400

Total = $622

Would it be reasonable to expect $500 for 'em?

If i were in your position i would start at that. I would call contractors to see if they would be interested. One option you could do is barter them as i see that more often lately.

Put 'em on craigslist for 1/2 price.

$300 bucks for the lot.

I don't think you will get $500 for pre-owned (unused) pavers.

Too bad you live on the other side of the country otherwise I'd take 'em off your hands.
