Planting in October

I planted 6 pumpkin seeds. I think I have the most pumpkins in my blocks now. So, I dug up the garden. Do you guys know what I can plant during October?

I had Snow Plea before Summer. Can I grow Snow Plea in October? or any kind of bean or squash?

Best bet would be to visit a local grower or nursury and talk to someone to find out what can and can't be planted in your zone during this time of year since all regions are different.

California alone has about 8 zones b/c of the the different climates... so the best source is a local source.
