The Parents Got A New Microwave

The old one caught on fire so they replaced it with this pimp model.

Kenmore 80804 - 1150 watts

This thing kicks ass. It's got a system just like the BMW iDrive ( ) one knob controls everything.

It cooks so much faster than the old one. And the old one was only 4 years old (similar model).

Another cool feature is that in addition to having a rotating plate inside, the actual tray inside moves back-and-forth, left-to-right. This way if you are heating up a large dish that wouldn't normally rotate it still cooks evenly.

It's pretty big inside:

Short video here showing the tray moving: Right Click & Save

And another quick clip of the menu operation Right Click & Save

I'm all geeked up for a microwave I know, but I'd recommend this one to anyone in the market. It's $400 at Sears, plus install.

lol seriously though, that knob would piss me the fuck off...im so used to just pushing one button to cook my food it would put me over the edge (my microwave has 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 minutes quick buttons)

looks pretty cool though. never seen a microwave with sort of an 'OS' on it..

I think mine cost $80. It has a big knob on it like yours. I think I can set it up to 20 minutes. It also has a spinner thing.

I sense when the food is ready by the popping sounds that it makes.
