I use the Armor All wipes for my parchment, but I don't know if it's safe for couch leather. Try a little on the back and see

We'll, right now I'm using the Meguiars cleaner and its okay but not the best stuff. If you leave the foam on too long it kind of barely stains the couches.

I prefer to use a leather couch cleaner if there is such a thing.

Be careful that whatever you use, it does not dry out the leather. I'd just go out and buy a spray on leather cleaner and a conditioner. I have Berkline Caramel Color leather sofas that do show some dirt so I only use cleaners that are made to clean leather.

They work fine on my leather couch, and they're one of the few things that clean the top of the dashboard on my '04 TL without making it look dirtier.

You can get simple green at the supermarket. Works great on everything. If its nice leather, you might want to look into some actual leather cleaner/conditioner. I'd imagine they sell that stuff at the supermarket too.

Saddle Soap. Look in the shoe cleaning area.

I bought a package of leather couch cleaner & conditioner wipes at Costco a while back.
I don't remember the name of the brand, but they work real well.

I'll have to try that dilute simple green. I have a cleaning kit that my sister gave me with the sofa. I'll check the name later.

Lexol Cleaner, Lexol Conditioner.

Same stuff I use in the car, and it can be found in many places (PepBoys for you Americans, I believe). Also, most good saddlery (horse riding stores that sell saddles, etc...) will have it. One orange bottle, one brown bottle.

Lasts a LONG time and is the best I've ever found for automotive and househld leather.

The thing with saddle soap alone is that it will dry the leather out unless you use a conditioner afterwards.

That's why I recommended the Lexol (it's similar to a saddle soap but safer -- Ph-balanced). And it has an accompanying conditioner.

Why is it that I've used leather conditioner on my car twice already (and I've only had it for a few months) and I still haven't done anything with my leather couch that I've had for a year? Guess it shows where my priorities are. My couch is black though, so if it's dirty, you can't tell.

Just happened to be looking at Simple Green.

My bottle says 'do not use on leather'.
