Indoor wood fireplace glass doors

We have a wood fireplace that we need to get glass doors for. The chimney was inspected and we're all set to go. We have mesh screens that fill the open space, but we want to get glass doors so we can shut it when we go to bed.
I don't think anything that we get from lowes or home depot will be of great quality, unless someone knows otherwise, nor do we want to pay $1200+ as we have seen for stoll or anything in that price range.
Is there something that you'd recommend? I want good quality but not a premium price tag.

If your good with attaching the hinges and mounting the glass to your fireplace, i don`t see why you can`t go to a local glass shop and have them custom cut you a heat resistant glass.

Heat resistant hinges would have to be specially ordered maybe Amazon or ??.

$1200,00, yikes! I bet you could do it for a couple of hundred.

I'm curious about this as well but can you really just slap hinges on glass?

I can never go to sleep at night until the fire is at least embers or out. And even then just have a screen to protect the fire.

I see these are for masonry fireplaces. I'll have to search one out for a prefab one.

took about 30 mins... it's prefabbed so just four bolts get it mounted... nice and solid...

I'll have to measure mine again but if memory serves me right, mine is 20.5" x 38" so it doesn't look like any of theirs will fit. I'll have to check out another brand.
