An ideas on repairing PVC from one end?

My AC drain comes out back of my place via a PVC pipe. It exits my unit through a hole in the siding. Well, some fucked up shit happened and the portion of the pipe that actually stuck out of the unit (~6", but connected to a drain pipe) was torn off, and it's not a clean break. Here's a pic:

So that part that's there is the end of a 90 deg. curved joint piece. I'd say the last 1/8" or so of the piece is not there. The other end of it is inside the building, in my downstair neighbor's laundry room, and I wouldn't want to have to move their washer/dryer/heater and tear down and repair their wall.

Any ideas on how to repair this from the outside? If I was to turn on the AC right now it would drain between the siding and the building which is probably not a good thing.

I'm thinking a smaller diameter (1.5"?) PVC pipe inside the portion that's visible. The question is, what adhesive/filler to use to make sure it stays in there! 1.5" is more than enough for the trickle from my AC unit. Thoughts?

PVC Cement... Available anywhere you buy plumbing stuff. Clean out the pipe before you use the cement though - that looks a little nasty.

Keep in mind though that a smaller pipe inserted in the bigger one will create a small area where water will pool up. It shoudnt be a problem here though.

Use purple primer and pvc cement. Cut a 1 1/2" pipe about 1-2" and it will have a clean edge and put some clear silicone around the outside between the pipe and the siding so that rain water doesn't get into the house.

any room for a collar in there? Looks to be a small opening - but maybe he could still try that?
