I started a project redoing our laundry room after our washer sprank a huge leak. I decided to rip up the raised floor and replace everything. I cut a foot of the sheetrock up off the floor all around the room. I also cut some windows in the back wall that looks into the basement to open the room up a bit. When I did this, I found a nice large mouse bathroom. As a matter of fact, when I started to cut into this bay, I could smell the urine. For some reason, they insulated this inside wall. Since I had cut the bottom, and had the window cut, I just pulled out all the soiled insulation. The bay still stinks. I was going to use bleach or a diluted solution with bleach and water. I didn't know if its safe for on the inside of the sheetrock. Is this safe, or is there a better solution to use?
