Granite was $42/sq ft. INSTALLED (free haulaway of old counters) plus $200 for the undermount sink. And yes, this guy hooked me up.

We have the same undermount sink, and it rocks. The 9 3/4" deep thing is awesome for larger pots, you will love it. Nice granite, great activity in it.

Nope... ALOT more things still to be done.. geez... how fast do you think I am? lol... but all appliances are coming in on Thursday I believe (frigidaire pro series dishwasher, range, microwave, and french door Amana fridge, all stainless steel).

Nice. The granite looks great.
I would have opted to leave out the back splash. It gives the appearance of a larger counterspace and just look s a little nicer IMO.

Whatever sealing you have done, it does need to be refreshed every so often based on the life expectancy of the sealer.

synth - did you and the wife make a decision on the backsplash? I'm prob doing a similar install and I don't know what to do between the range and the micro/fan.

more updates, new hardware (just a test fitment, I have over 60+ handles and 120+ hinges to install
