"Good Luck" Bamboos...

...so, being Chinese, I'm really superstitious... a couple of years ago... for my birthday, a friend of mine got me one of those bamboo trees.... it's suppose to bring "prosperity"... and maybe, perhaps, things just happen to happen the way it did... but the last couple years, I've been doing rather well... (finanically, that is). Anyway, I ended up getting 3 of them from different people over the last couple years.... (there NOT suppose to work if you buy'em yourself... they're suppose to be given to you), They are all in my bathroom counter... BUT it appears that the original one is dying... getting yellow... does anyone know how I can save it? I'm getting kinda freaked... cause, I want to continue making good money... or at least decent money... and NOT lose money... or lose my job or something... (and YES, I do add water to it... making sure it doesn't dry up).

My grandmother says you have to let the water sit for a couple days before you water the bamboos plant with it. She says its sort of like watering it with distilled water which is supposed to be more refined. Another thing is to make sure that the pot is big enough for the roots to grow.

Try getting it out of direct sunlight also.

They need nutrients just like any other plant, but water only does so much.

Look up Planet Bonsai on the web...they have a fertilizer that I use.
